USERS

This product has been designed to be handled by users of legal age who have read and understood these
instructions. Do not allow underage persons or persons who do not understand these instructions to use the
product.

Before using this product, familiarize yourself with it. Make sure you know where all the controls are, the safety
devices and how they should be used.
•
If you are an inexperienced user we recommend that you practice doing simple work and, if possible, in the
company of an experienced person.
SAFETY
•
During charging, the batteries emit explosive gases. Do not smoke and do not bring flames, sparks or heat
sources close to the machine.
•
This battery charger has switches that can cause arcs or sparks, so if it is used in a garage or similar environment,
place it in a protected area.
•
Keep charging batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not expose to rain or snow.
•
Do not use the battery charger to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
•
Unplug the power cord from the mains before connecting or disconnecting the battery charging cables.
•
Do not connect or disconnect the clamps to the battery when the charger is in operation.
•
In order not to damage the electronic components of vehicles, please observe carefully the warnings given by the
brand of the vehicle or the batteries used.
•
Do not use the battery charger inside a car or on the hood.
•
Check that the available supply voltage corresponds to that indicated on the data plate of the battery charger.
•
The battery charger is protected against indirect contacts by a protective earth conductor, as prescribed for Class
I devices.
•
For models with cable with plug and "P.MAX START" power greater than 9kW, we recommend replacing the
plug with a plug of a capacity suitable for the fuse indicated on the plate. On models that do not have a fuse,
connect pins of suitable capacity to the fuse value indicated on the plate.

MAINTENANCE, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE SAFETY
•
Check that all safety features are installed and in good condition.
•
Do not force this machine or modify the controls.
•
Before adjusting or repairing the machine, stop and disconnect it completely.
•
Replace the power cord with an original cord only.
•
Carry out regular maintenance on the machine. We recommend that maintenance and repairs not described in
this manual be performed by an Official Service Facility.
