Remove all packaging materials and any
transport safety devices.

Clean all parts with a damp cloth, as
described in the chapter "Cleaning and
care" on page 11.

Check to make sure that the appliance is
stable.
4.
Connect the base via the power cord to the
power supply (220-240 V~, 50-60 Hz).
5.
Remove the kettle from the base.
6.
Open the lid by pressing the button at the
handle.

Fill the kettle with at least 0.4 liters of
water. Do not fill the kettle with more than
1.2 liters of water ("Max" marking).

Place the kettle level on the base.

The kettle cannot be switched on if it is not
properly seated on the base.

When the water boils, the appliance auto-
matically shuts off.

For hygienic reasons, please discard the
water from the first boiling.

Close the lid by pressing lightly.

Place the kettle level on the base.
