What to do in an emergency, i. e. after handling disinfectant
negligently:
If the disinfectant has got into your eyes:

- If you are wearing contact lenses, remove them immedi-
ately.
- Rinse out your eyes immediately with copious amounts
of clean water for at least 10 minutes.
- Consult a doctor if your eyes remain irritated.
If you have swallowed the disinfectant:

- First rinse out your mouth with copious amounts of water.
- Dilute the content of your stomach with copious amounts
of water.
- Do not induce vomiting!
- Consult a doctor as a precaution.
If you have inhaled the vapours:

- Go into the open air. If you have trouble breathing, con-
sult a doctor immediately!
If the disinfectant has come into contact with skin or

clothes:
- Immediately wash the affected skin with water.
- Take off the relevant pieces of clothing and wash them
before wearing them again.
