Activating the choke control closes the choke plate
on carburetor and aids in starting engine.
Primer
Pressing primer forces fuel directly into engine's carburetor
to aid in cold-weather starting.
ignition key
The ignition key is a safety device. It must be fully
inserted in order for the engine to start. Remove the
ignition key when the snow thrower is not in use.
NOTE: Do not turn the ignition key in an attempt to start
the engine. Doing so may cause it to break.

The throttle control is located on the rear of the engine. It regulates the
speed of the engine and will shut off the engine when moved into the
STOP position.

The starter handle is used to manually start the engine.

Remove the gas cap to add fuel.

When engaged, the augers rotation draws snow into the auger housing
and throws it out the discharge chute. Rubber paddles on the augers
also aid in propelling the snow thrower as they come in contact with
the pavement.
