the"Sparklite"ignitionbutton(repeatuntilheaterlights).
Aftertheheaterislit,continuetoholdtheSafetyShutoff
Valvefor30seconds,thenreleasethebutton.
OPTIONAL LIGHTING:Tolightheater,placealitmatch
acrossthemeshscreenwhereyousee"lighthere"onthe
reflector.(SeeFigure5)THENpushinvalvebuttononSafety

regulatorknobto"off"(clockwise)andallowatleastfive
minutesforgastodissipatebeforeattemptingtorelight.
G.NOTE:Shouldtheorificebecomecloggedasindicatedbylow
volumeofgaswhenoperatingon"Hi"withafullcylinder,
orshouldtheheaterfailtooperateproperlyforanyreason,
returntheheatertothedealerortheaddressgivenonback

A.Thebulkpropanetank"on-off"valveshouldALWAYSbe
completelyturned"OFF"whentheheaterisnotinuse.
B.Whenshuttingofftheheater,turntheregulatorknobonthe
heaterto"OFF"(clockwise).
C. CAUTION:Afterturningunitoff,heaterwillremainextremely
hot.Allowatleast15minutesforcoolingbeforehandlingand
storing.Detachheaterfrombulktankbeforehandlingand
storage.REMEMBER–POLfittingisaleft-handthread.
D. HEATER STORAGE:Indoorstorageoftheheateris
permissibleonlyifthecylinderisdisconnectedandremoved
fromtheheater.Cylindersmustbestoredoutdoorsoutofthe
reachofchildrenandmustnotbestoredinabuilding,garage
oranyotherenclosedarea.Storecylindersonlyinaccordance
withtheStandardfortheStorageandHandlingofLiquefied
PetroleumGasesANSI/NFPA58

A.Removethermocouple(3)retainingbracketscrewfromback
ofburnerassembly(2).Removebracket.
B. Notepositionofthermocouple(3)inretainingtabsonthe
backoftheBurnerassembly(2).Removethethermocouple.
C.Removewingbolt(18)andfiberwasher(19)thatattached
thesafetyshut-off(6)totheburnerAssembly(2).
D. Slidethesafetyshut-off(6)fromburnerassembly(2).
E. Removeburnerorifice(20)fromthesafetyshut-off(6).
F. Cleanburnerorificewithcompressedair(80psimax).
G.Directcompressedarethroughtheburner(2)venturitube
towardtheburnerplenumsothatdustcollectedonthegrid
screenwillbeblownoutward.Keepfaceawayfromthegrid
screen.
H. Reassembleheaterinreverseorderofdisassembly.
