Operation
1. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment,
including eye, face, head and arm protection and
other PPE as required by your employer, and/or as
appropriate for the job.
2. Press the locking flange and open the crimping head.
3. Insert the properly assembled connector into the
crimping head.
4. Close the crimping head.
5. Ensure arm's length distance between tool and user
(Fig. 3, pg. 11) then pull the trigger to make the crimp.
Note: Trigger activates white LED work light which
remains on for 10 seconds after trigger is released.
6. Hold the trigger down until the crimping tool
achieves pressure relief, which is accompanied by
an audible "pop".
7. The ram will return automatically to the starting
position.
LCD Screen
This tool has an LCD screen that displays information
about the tool. Turn on the screen by inserting the
battery and tapping the trigger.

Bluetooth/I-Press App
This tool has Bluetooth capability that allows the tool
to communicate with the Greenlee i-press App on your
smart device.
1. Install the "i-press Klauke Software Solutions"
app from the App Store or Google Play. Open
the app on your smart device and select the
Greenlee option.

and confirm the selection by tapping the trigger. Selecting single click will allow the user to
operate the tool with one trigger pull. Selecting double click will require the user to press
the trigger twice within 1/2 second to operate the tool.

The process can be interrupted at any moment by
releasing the trigger. By actuating the retract button,
the ram will return to the starting position. If you do not
hear the sound of the relief valve or the ram does not
automatically retract, the crimp is not complete.
Note: This tool is not designed for continuous use. After
100 cycles allow the tool to cool for 15 minutes.
Do not twist work piece or tool during operation. Failure
could result.
* After completing the last crimp with W-type dies on an
aluminum connector, wipe off the excess oxide inhibitor.
Carrying the Tool
The carrying ring and carrying strap are for carrying
only. Never hang or suspend the tool by the strap.

device and activate the tool to establish a
connection.

readings, battery charge, the last service date, and
more. Instructions how to use the app are shown in
