•DO NOT TRY TO PICK UP THE LAMP IF IT FALLS IN THE WATER; perform the
operation ONLY after having disconnected it from the light socket.
•Before immersing hands into the water, disconnect all electric devices.
•Make sure your hands are dry before switching the device on and off.
•Carefully examine the device after installation. If you notice the presence of
water on non-waterproof parts , do not connect the device to the light socket.
•Make sure the lamp does not become overheated during functioning.
Light diffusion must be restricted to the aquarium interior: the light of some
lamps can have harmful effects to the naked eye.
•Do not install the unit in places exposed to atmospheric agents or remarkably
low temperatures (below 0°).
INSTALLATION
1. The bracket is fixed with a sliding system.
Fix the lamp holder to the aquarium edge, on the chosen side (possibly near
the light socket), turning the small wheel until the support is firm and stable.
Aquarium wall thickness should be of 4-7 mm.
2.Place the lighting unit in horizontal position and orient it towards the
aquarium to light its surface homogeneously.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING:
Disconnect or switch off all operating devices before any intervention.
Keeping Orion clean means obtaining a high performance.
The excessive salt or fouling deposits may reduce the lamp brightness. To clean
the lighting group, use a soft, damp cloth, avoiding to wet the contacts.
WARNING: clean the lighting group only when it is not operating and no longer
heated.
SPOTTING POTENTIAL TECHNICAL PROBLEMS
If the unit does not generate any light, make sure it is connected properly (see
Installation) and switched on. Also, check the electric plant voltage is suitable
to support the unit.
RECYCLING
This product is markerd with the appropriate symbol that identifies the relative
separate collection of electrical and alectronic equipment. This means that the
product must be dumped according to the recycling laws (European directive
2002/96/CE) to reduce ambiental impact. For more information you can
contact your local or regional administration. The wrong dumping of electronic
products is potentially dangerous for nature and for human health because of
the presence of dangerous substances. Disposal not in accordance with the
directive is penalty sanctioned.
GUARANTEE: This product is guaranteed for a period of 24 months from
the date of purchase for material or manufacturing defects. Certificate of
guarantee must be filled out completely by reseal dealer and must accompany
equipment along with the receipt, in case it is submitted for repair. Guarantee
consists in substitution of defective parts. Guarantee is considered void in case
of improper use, nor does it answer to damages caused by improper handling
or negligence on the part of the buyer. Excluded from guarantee parts subject
