Before using for the first time, remove and discard all packaging materials and
adhesive labels and wash the pressure cooker.

Always read the instructions carefully before using your Tramontina pressure
cooker.
•
To prevent asphyxiation of small children, remove and safely dispose of all
plastic packaging included with the product.
•
This product is only intended for domestic use. Do not use it for anything other
than its proposed purpose. Incorrect use of the pressure cooker may cause
injury.
•
To prevent accidents, this appliance must not be used by children or unsupervised
people with impaired capacities or by people who are not acquainted with the
instructions for use. Cleaning and maintenance of the product must not be
carried out by children.
•
This product is not intended to be used by people (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or without experience or
knowledge unless they are supervised or duly instructed on using the product
by a person responsible for their safety.
•
Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
•
Do not put the pressure cooker in a hot oven.
•
Be careful when handling the pressure cooker when it is functioning.
•
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handles and knob. If needed, use protection
(mitts, cloths, etc.).
•
This product cooks under pressure. Incorrect use of this pressure cooker may
be dangerous. Before using the pressure cooker, make sure it is tightly closed.
•
Do not remove the pressure cooker lid by force. Do not remove the pressure
cooker lid unless you are sure the internal pressure has dropped.
•
When de-pressurizing the pressure cooker, keep hands, head and body out of
the steam vent area.
•
Never use the pressure cooker without liquids. This could cause serious
damage.
•
Do not fill the pressure cooker to more than 2/3 of its capacity.
•
When cooking items that expand in volume (such as rice, dehydrated vegetables,
etc.), do not fill the pressure cooker to more than half of its capacity.
•
When cooking food items of a thick consistency, give the pressure cooker a little
shake before removing the lid to ensure these foodstuffs do not splash out.
•
Before each use, make sure the safety and working valves are not blocked.
•
Never use the pressure cooker to fry or roast under pressure.
•
Never place heavy objects on the working valve.
•
Never tamper with any safety system not mentioned in the instructions.
•
Use only original manufactured replacement parts for the corresponding model
marked as compatible.
•
Your Tramontina pressure cooker seal is made of silicone especially for this
model. Never replace it with a similar seal and never use seals made with
common rubber as this may hinder the performance of the pressure cooker. The
seal of this pressure cooker is available from Tramontina's Technical Service
networks.
•
Clean the silicone seal regularly. To ensure the item has a long life, grease it
periodically with cooking oil.
