ASSEMBLY
The longitudinal axis of both spherical bearings
must be aligned horizontally and normally in
drive direction.
Vertical shock mounts, which are mounted
directly to the shock must not be used.
The shock mount of the bicycle frame must be
such that the spherical bearings (1) are able to
move freely.
The following steps are only required if the shock is being used in a bicycle which did not have this
shock fitted as part of its original equipment.
1.
Install the shock in accordance with the specifications of the frame manufacturer.
2.
Check to ensure the rear shock is installed correctly. To do this, release some air (see chap.5.4)
and compress the shock completely in the frame.
The shock must not touch the frame and the full range of movement of all moving parts must
be guaranteed.
3.
Increase the air pressure to the desired pressure (see chap.5.3).
