How to use

Your Zippi fan is completely assembled and ready for immediate use. Simply plug in Zippi
and enjoy its cooling effect. The Zippi fan gives you control over your personal comfort
in many ways. Thanks to Zippi's small size and easy portability, it can be used to provide
a cool breeze in almost any space. Since Zippi is designed for personal cooling, the airflow
pattern and angled blades are specifically engineered to drive maximum air to the person
positioned directly in front of the fan. The adjustable fan head gives you the freedom to
customize the direction of the airflow. Simply position the fan head at an angle that provides
you with the ideal amount of cooling. Zippi also allows speed control with the control knob
at the back of the fan. Speed "I" is the lowest setting, "II" is the highest setting and "O" is
the off position. At either speed, the soft, pleasing sound created by Zippi is the perfect
blend of quietness along with the soothing sound of whooshing air.
Position Zippi away from objects that may block airflow from the back or from the front.
Keep the blades from coming into contact with any objects as this may reduce the life of
the cloth blades and cause excessive wear on the motor. It is intended that the blades will
not regularly come into contact with objects, but they are designed to not cause injury if
they accidentally do contact objects or individuals.
If using Zippi on an elevated surface, use caution in positioning it to minimize the possibility
of it falling from that surface.
Should a blade become loose or tattered, DO NOT operate the fan. Contact Vornado Air
LLC for assistance. If your Zippi operates with excessive vibration, check that all three
blades are fully extended when in operation. If vibration continues, contact Vornado for
assistance. See below for blade replacement instructions.
It is possible to remove the front hub should something accidentally wrap around the motor
shaft. Pull the hub straight off the shaft. To put the hub back on the shaft, push the hub onto
the shaft until it is in near proximity to the body, but allows free rotation. Do not use a
hammer as this could result in bearing damage.
