6. WaSte DiSPOSaL aND DemOLitiON
6.1.6 THe DIsPOsaL PrOCeDUres
Since this product is electrically adjustable, this product is classified as an electrical device of industrial use in
compliance with Directive 2012/19/UE on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
Therefore, the replaced electrical components (drives, control devices, push-button boards, etc.) of these products
must be treated as electrical waste according to the WEEE directive and disposed of accordingly.
The symbol on either the product or the package means that, at the end of the life cycle, the product must be
disposed of separately from the household waste.
The disposal of the special and/or toxic harmful waste must be:
- entrusted by contract to expressly authorized companies and those who physically perform the transport must
hold the appropriate authorizations and be registered in the Register of the Forwarding Agents.
- directly performed by the user in compliance with the municipality regulations and entrusted to the purposely-
allocated collection centers.
In case of direct disposal, the user must ascertain that no component has deteriorated.
In case the product is scraped, the worn plastic and metal must must be disposed of separately and appropriately.
Attention should be paid to the drive units, since they are potentially hazardous (before the disposal, check the
indications provided by the manufacturer in the relevant user's and maintenance manual).
The hydraulic units, if any, mainly consist of metal and plastic. Before disposing, comply with the Manufacturer's
indications as related to the recovery of the oil contained for the subsequent disposal.
