WARNING FOR FREEZING WEATHER: In very rare cases when a heavy rainstorm is followed by an extreme temperature drop to below freezing,
it is possible for the cover to become frozen to a layer of ice created between the vehicle body and the cover. Do not attempt to remove the cover
during this time period. If it is necessary to remove the cover, we recommend pouring warm water over the vehicle and slowly removing the cover,
taking care to inspect the surfaces of both the cover and the vehicle during the removal process. Stop immediately if you encounter resistance - the
ice has not been melted completely and you must pour more warm water over the vehicle.
PERSONALIZED MARKING INSTRUCTIONS: The application of large letters and/or numbers on the side or front of the cover showing the vehicle's
license plate or name(s) is one of the best methods for protecting your cover against theft. If you choose to put identification markings on your cover,
please note the following:
- DO NOT use iron-on appliques!
- DO NOT use regular or spray paint!
- DO NOT use laundry markers or "permanent" type Magic markers.
- DO NOT use any type of felt-tip pen or marker.
The only type of marking paint that is acceptable for use on NOAH material is a permanent type fabric/T-shirt paint. This paint is readily available in a variety
of colors at most fabric and art supply stores. Follow the manufacturers instructions. Use a single coating of the fabric paint for marking the outside of the
cover with your personalized markings.
WARNING - Markers and regular paint will not adhere to the fabric and can transfer their color onto the vehicle finish.
HAZING OF WINDOWS AND PAINT: Airborne pollutants may be deposited on the windows or paint while a vehicle is being driven or when parked
uncovered. These deposits may become smeared and create a haze when the cover is used. The haze can be wiped off with a damp cloth or washed
off with water.
CLEANING AND WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Any cover will slowly collect dust on its underside, picked up from contact with the surface of the vehicle. Your new NOAH fabric cover may be
washed using the large automatic washers without agitator that are found in most commercial laundromats. Do not use machines with agitators
- this can damage the cover and actually cause rips or tears.
A home-type washer is not large enough to accommodate the cover and provide proper cleaning.
Use 2 cups of liquid Fantastic All Purpose Cleaner ONLY (not soap or detergent). Wash the cover using "Normal" or "Permanent Press" cycles in cold or warm
water. DO NOT WASH IN HOT WATER! Run the cover through two rinse cycles - it is most important that all the cleaner be removed in order to preserve
the cover's water resistance. Air dry the cover - DO NOT put the cover in an automatic dryer (the fabric can melt). DO NOT dry clean.
Another way to clean the dust from either the inside or outside of the cover is to put it on the vehicle and hose it off. To clean the inside, put the cover on the
vehicle inside-out (this can only be done if you do not have an external antenna). After rinsing off the cover, leave it on the vehicle to dry. Then fold it and return
it to the trunk or usual storage place.
If your car is equipped with an outside antenna which will not retract, lay the cover with the inside up on a clean driveway and carefully hose it off. Either leave
it on the driveway or place it over the vehicle to dry. Be sure the vehicle is clean before you do this.
If the cover becomes soiled in a few spots, light brushing with a soft rag will remove most dirt. For persistent soils:
1) Wet the soiled area with water.
2) Wash with liquid Fantastic All Purpose Cleaner, working the lather into the soiled area using a sponge.
3) Rinse thoroughly with water to remove all cleaner residue which can cause fabric leakage if left on the cover.
4) Air dry completely.
5) If slight fabric leakage occurs due to the presence of residual cleaner, the area may be treated with a water repellent treatment such as Scotch Guard Fabric
Protector.Fabric leakage may also be caused by contact with insect repellents and certain types of sprays. If this occurs, the above washing technique will correct
the problem.
OPTIONAL LOCKING DEVICE
Your new cover is equipped with plastic (non-scratch) grommets, reinforced into the bottom edge on both sides of the cover. A plastic-coated, steel
cable with padlock and keys is available to lock through the grommets and secure the cover to the vehicle. Also available is a polycotton storage bag
to place the cover in when not in use. Consult your dealer for availability
An added theft deterrent is the application of large letters on the sides of the cover. You may want to print your name or license number on the cover to make
it uninviting to a prospective thief. (Note - see warning for use of ink and markers)
NOTE -- Vehicle covers are not designed for use when towing. Serious damage can occur to the cover, and the paint surface of the vehicle may
also be damaged. If you use a cover while towing, you do so at your own risk!
LIMITED FOUR (4) YEAR WARRANTY
Covers made of NOAH fabric are warranted for 4 years from date of purchase. Warranty coverage protects against fabric becoming unserviceable during normal
use. After factory inspection we will repair or replace the cover or specific panels judged to be unusable. These repairs or replacement will be done at no charge
to you. Warranty does not cover misuse or accident, nor does it cover fading, which occurs naturally on all products used outdoors. To process your warranty
