General
To be performed at the end of the working day.
The grinder-doser should be cleaned periodically, with
special attention given to those areas that come into contact
with the coffee.
To clean, follow these procedures:
Always switch off the appliance at switch (11)
and cut off from the mains via the omnipolar
switch.
Do not immerse the appliance in water.
Cleaning the coffee beans receptacle (2)
Close the gate (3) by pushing it towards the inside; Unscrew
the ring nut (A) and detach the receptacle (2) from the grinder.
Remove any remaining coffee from the coffee beans
receptacle (2); wash it (removing any organic residue)
with a damp cloth using methods and detergents suitable
to objects that come into contact with foodstuffs. Rinse
thoroughly and dry.
Before replacing the coffee beans receptacle (2) on the
grinder-doser, ensure that all the parts have been dried
thoroughly.
Cleaning the Ground Coffee Doser (6) (Automatic version
only)
To clean the doser (6), rst remove all the ground coffee
and remove the lid (5). Using a brush, clean the inside
surfaces and the dosing star, rotating it. Remove any
organic residue.
Store the brush in a sheltered place and use it exclusively
for cleaning the grinder-doser in order to prevent it from
being contaminated by foreign substances.
Do not clean the doser or its parts with liquids or
damp cloths.
GRINDER ON DEMAND
When cleaning, pay close attention to the
(B).
Bodywork
Clean the bodywork of the appliance with a soft cloth and
use products that DO NOT contain ammonia or abrasive
substances. Remove any organic residue.
Note. Do not spray liquids inside the openings of the
appliance.
