Operation

Starting Motor and Blade
WARNING:
you are in the operating position behind the mower
when using it. To avoid serious injury, the operator
and unit should be in a stable position while
starting.
1. Insert key. Refer to Fig. 5-1.
2. Depress starter button on the motor blade control.
3. Pull motor/blade control handle up against upper handle.
4. Release starter button.
Stopping Motor and Blade
1. Release the blade/motor control handle to stop the motor
and blade.
WARNING:
seconds after the motor is shut off. If motor does not
come to a stop when the motor/blade control
handle is released, contact an authorized service
dealer.
2. Remove the key to prevent accidental starting when
equipment is unattended.
3. Charge the mower.
