The following symbols are used
in this manual:
Danger /Warning
The symbol is intended to point
out hazards related to the activity
described, which could endanger
the personal safety of the operator
or others and cause damage to
property.
References to positions
To determine positions (e.g.
LEFT and RIGHT) stand behind
the handle in the operating
position.
Assembly
Always remove wire from spark
plug to avoid accidental starting
Danger
This unit Is shipped without
gasoline or oil in the engine.
See engine manual.
Attaching the handle

Prepare the handle-assembly
and tighten the wing nuts (4)
firmly. See figure 1.
Remove the carriage screws
(7) and nuts (3) from the
lower handle.

Remove the hairpin clips(4).
Place handle (1) over the pins
(5) and secure the handle
with carriage screws (3),
wing nuts (2) and hairpin clip
(4). See figure 2.
Pull the starter rope slowly
out of the engine and slip it
through the rope guide (6).
Tighten the wing nut (5)
(figure 1).

Grasp bag handle (2) with
one hand and pull locking rod
(4) with other hand toward
engine, while slipping bag
over rim of discharge
opening.
Release locking rod (4) so the
ends are over the front tab (6)
on the bag handle to secure
bag in place.
Snap bag clip (1) to the top of
the handle (8).
Secure the straps (7) onto the
studs (3).
NOTE:
The safety switch button (5)
must be fully depressed by
the tip of front tab (6) or
engine will not start
Attaching the blower chute
(optional)

Grasp blower chute (1) with
one hand and pull locking rod
(4) with other hand toward
engine, while slipping blower
chute over rim of discharge
opening.

Release locking rod (4) so the
ends are over the front tab (2)
on the blower chute to secure
in place.
Raise the nozzle height to the
highest setting when using
the blower chute. Refer to
section OPERATION.
NOTE:
The safety switch button (5)
must be fully depressed by
the tip of front tab (6) or
engine will not start.
Installing the suction hose
(according to the design)

Pull up the locking button (3)
a little and hold it.
Insert the suction hose
adapter (1) into the
connecting socket (2).
Fix the suction hose adapter
by means of the locking
button in the first (lowest)
locking hole (4) ( this is the
position used for working
with a suction hose).
Check if the locking button is
arrested correctly.

Fix the suction hose and
handle to appropriate
clips/guidance and make
sure they are in their
correct position (12).
Operation
Danger
Possible engine damage due to
missing engine oil.
Your unit is shipped without
motor oil. Before first operation
service motor oil (see engine
manual).
Before every start
Close bag.
Check correct fit of the bag or
the blower chute (optional).
Check oil level
