CHARGING A HOT OR COLD BATTERY PACK
If the battery pack is outside the normal temperature range, the LED Indicator 2 will
shine red continuously. Allow the battery pack to cool down or warm up. If charging
does not restart when the battery pack returns to the normal temperature, reinsert the
battery pack.
DEFECTIVE BATTERY PACK OR CHARGER
If the charger detects a problem, the LED Indicator 2 will flash red.
1. Try to remove and reinsert the battery pack in the charger. If the LED Indicator 2
still flashes red the second time, try charging a different battery pack.
2. If a different battery pack charges normally, dispose of the faulty battery pack
(refer to the instructions in the battery pack manual).
3. If a different battery pack also indicates an error, unplug the charger and wait
until the LED Indicator 2 goes out. Then reconnect the plug to the power supply.
4. If none of the above solves the problem, call EGO Customer Service.
WALL-MOUNT HOLES
The charger has hanging holes for convenient storage (Fig.1). Install screws in the wall
4 inches (101.6 mm) apart. Use screws sufficiently strong to support the combined
weight of the charger and battery pack.
To prevent the battery pack from falling out, hang the charger only in the vertical
orientation.
