3. AUTHORISED USE
Employers responsibility
It is the employers responsibility to ensure that you have the knowledge to ensure the safe use of this
machine, that only trained and authorised operators use it and that this manual is available to all operators.
It is the employers responsibility to ensure that the unit is regularly inspected and kept in a safe condition for
use.
It is the employers responsibility to comply with the PUWER AND LOLER Regulations or other local
regulations in force in the country of use.
Alterations to the lifting trolley, which affect operational or functional safety, are not permitted.
Operators responsibility
Read and comply with this manual at all times and use the product is a responsible safe way. If you have any
questions, contact your supplier.
Being qualified involves an obligation to read the instructions, and to follow them!
4. SAFE USE OF MACHINE
ALWAYS use Safety Shoes
ALWAYS be aware of the risk of being crushed between the load surrounding objects.
ALWAYS keep from the Load and NEVER put any part of your body where it could be hit by the load
ALWAYS keep the load central
ALWAYS lower loads to lowest position as soon as they are supported by the machine
NEVER exceed the capacity of the attachment mounted on the machine
NEVER use on ramps or gradients
NEVER use to lift people
NEVER if damaged
NEVER use for unstable or swinging loads
NEVER use in an explosive atmosphere
NEVER use with the covers removed
NEVER get under the load or lower the platform if the space under it or under the load is obstructed by
people or other obstructions.
5. SAFE USE OF ATTACHMENTS
ALWAYS ENSURE YOUR ATTACHMENTS SECURING PIN IS PROPERLY ENGAGED.
THE SAFE WORKING LOAD (SWL) IS DETERMINED BY THE LOWER OF THE LABEL
ON THE ATTACHMENT AND THE LABEL ON THE MACHINE. ALWAYS CHECK TO
SEE IF THE TOOL HAS A LOWER SWL LABEL.
Machines with either a Clamp tool or a Roll Turning Tool (EX250) have an additional manual which follows
this manual.
6. DELIVERY AND SET UP
The machine comes with a partly charged battery. As will all new batteries you will need to charge it several
times before reaching full capacity
