should be positioned between the shoulder and the neck of the child. The headrest should fit
well to the child's head.
• Grasp the headrest adjustment lever (H) located at the back of the headrest and gently pull
it up. The headrest is unlocked.
• You can now adjust the headrest to the desired height. When the height is adjusted, release
the lever, and the headrest will be locked in position. The headrest has 10 positions.
Place the child seat on the vehicle seat. Place your child in the seat and check the height of
the headrest. Warning! If necessary, repeat the headrest adjustment process until you obtain
the optimum height.
4.2 Seat tilt angle adjustment
The child seat is equipped with a tilt angle adjustment function. Pull the tilt adjustment lever
(G) and adjust the seat forward or backward. Release the lever in the desired position and
push gently until it clicks.
5. Installation in the vehicle
In case of sudden braking or an accident, persons not using seat belts can cause damage to
other passengers.
Always check the following:
• The seat backrests are locked in the vehicle (i.e. foldable back seat is locked).
• All heavy objects and sharp edges are secured (e.g. on the rear parcel shelf).
• All passengers fastened their seat belts.
• The safety seat is always protected, even if the child is not in it.
Protecting vehicle upholstery
Seat covers in some vehicles can be made of soft materials so the safety seat may leave some
traces. They can be avoided by placing a blanket or towel under the safety seat.
5.1 Installing the car safety seat in weight groups 2 and 3 using the vehicle 3-point safety
belts.
IMPORTANT The instruction manual of the vehicle manufacturer specifies the location of the
fixing points and other necessary information regarding the installation of the seat in the car.
The user MUST read the instruction manual of the vehicle manufacturer.
Preparing the seat:
• Adjust the headrest to the child's height (see section 4.1).
• Make sure that both ISOFIX attachments (I) are hidden in the seat base. If not, pull and hold
the release button (K) and slide the ISOFIX attachment back to the base. Repeat the steps
above to move back the attachment on the other side of the seat.
• Place the child seat on the vehicle seat. Make sure that the child seat backrest rests flat on
the vehicle seat.
Tip: If the car seat headrest does not allow you to do that, have it removed or placed in a
different way.
Placing the child in the child seat:
• Place your child in the seat and place the car safety belt in front of the child. Fasten the
vehicle seat belt and make sure you hear a typical "click".
