Performance loss with high altitude application

Generators run differently due to altitude and temperature differences. Unmodified
internal combustion engines have reduced performance at high altitudes due to
the lower air pressure. This means less performance and therefore a reduced
power exploitation. As soon as temperatures increase, an engine runs less
economically and electrical components have more resistance.
For every 300 meters above high altitudes of 1500 meters above sea level, the
performance of the generator is reduced by 3.5%. For outside temperatures above
40 degrees Celsius, the generator performance is reduced by 3% for every
additional 5 degrees. The tables shown help with the high altitude and outside
temperature performance devaluation. In order to determine the true generator
performance, it may be necessary to consider both the high altitude and
temperature devaluation factors.
