5 Operation Modes
Notes:
• To learn how to use the operation panel and understand the LCD, refer to section 2.2 Operation Panel.
• Each of the display diagrams shown in this section is for reference only. The actual display depends on the UPS operation mode.
5.1 Standby Mode
After the UPS is connected to the AC utility, it will supply power to the UPS and the batteries will be charged.
5.2 Line Mode
In line mode, the connected loads are directly supplied by raw, unconditioned utility power and the batteries are charged.
5.3 AVR Mode
In AVR mode, the critical loads are supplied by conditioned utility power and the batteries are charged.
5.4 Battery Mode
When the UPS is operating during a power outage, the batteries provide DC power to the inverter to support the connected
critical loads.
5.5 Setup Mode
Note: Only qualified service personnel should perform setup action.
In setup mode, you can configure the following:
• Alarm mute
• Inverter voltage
• Sensitivity setting
To set up the UPS:
1. Press the ON button and confirmation button simultaneously
2. Press the scrolling button
3. Press the confirmation button
4. Press the scrolling button
5. Press the confirmation button
6. In setup mode, press the ON button and confirmation button simultaneously
return to the original home display.
7. In setup mode, if you do not press any button for more than 2 minutes, the LCD will exit setup mode and return to the
original display automatically.
Note: Alarm mute setting can be made in all operation modes. All other settings are only available in standby mode or line mode.
