General safety provisions
This document provides all the information
necessary for the operation and mainte
nance of Aircare AF.
Please observe these general safety pro
visions, in cluding the warnings, comments
and instructions contained in this operation
and mainteinance manual. Failure to follow
the general safety provisions, warnings,
comments and instructions can result in
personal injury and/or dama ges to the Ai-
rcare AF unit.
Keep this manual for the entire life of your
Aircare AF.
Aircare AF can only be installed, con
nected and main tained by experienced
qualified electricians or window installers
having the proper skills as a result of spe
cific training or professional expertise and
who can guaran tee that the works will be
performed correctly.
All maintenances in this document that are
not explicity provided by the user, must be
performed only by qualified and experien
ced personnel.
Make sure that the mains power sup
ply is disconnected when performing
maintenances.
Near Aircare AF should not be placed heat
sources with temperatures above 50°C.
Near Aircare AF should not be placed
sources of oil or fat (such as for example,
plates, grids for use in food, fireplaces).
Do not place any devices using flammable
substances near AirCare AF.
Do not cover, or insert any foreign objects
into, the air inlets or outlets while the Ai-
rcare AF is running.
Do not use AF AirCare in such envi
ronments as laboratories/factories where
hazardous gases such as alkaline gases
are used, or in places which may present
fumes of organic solvents, varnishes, or
other corrosive substances.
Never disconnect Aircare AF operation by
pulling on the electrical wires; always use
the ON/OFF button or the re mote control.
Following maintenance, reassemble the
parts in their original positions and make
certain they are secure.
Never make any modifications to the Ai-
rcare AF.
Maintain your Aircare AF regularly fol
lowing the instructions in this manual,
including cleaning and periodic replace
ment of the filters.
Aircare AF must not be opened and di
smantled without suitable tools; ovnly
qualified personnel — who have acqui
red the necessary skills through special
training or professional activity — can
guarantee proper execution of the works
and only they can handle internal compo
nents of the Aircare AF unit, including the
fan.
The user can only remove the grid for pe
riodic cleaning or filter replacement. All
other operations must be performed by
qualified personnel.
If an Aircare AF operating anomaly is
found (for example: no ventilation, burnt
smell, unusual noise, or other), imme
diately disconnect the power supply and
contact qualified personnel.
This unit is not intended for being used
and maintained by individuals (children
under eight years inclusive) with dimini
shed physical, sensory, or mental abilities
or who lack experience or knowledge,
unless they have received instruction and
supervision in use of the unit by a person
responsible for their safety. Never allow
children to play with the equipment.
If the power cable is damaged, to prevent
any risk, it must be replaced by qualified
personnel.
