Converting the Pressure Roller
Converting the pressure roller from 20 mm to 40 mm or vice versa.
Allow welding nozzle (9) to cool down (see operating instructions
VARIANT T1, page 31, section 1.8).
The device may only be converted while the welding nozzle (9) is cold.
Turn off main switch (3).

Disconnect power supply cord (1) from power supply.

• Disassembly
– Pull round belt (23).
– Remove pressure roller (11) by loosening the screw (35).
– Remove round belt flange (36) by loosening the screw (37).
• Assembly
– Mount round belt flange (36) on the pressure roller (11)
and fasten with screw (37).
– Push pressure roller (11) onto the shaft as far as it will go.
– Fasten pressure roller (11) with screw (35).
– Mount round belt (23).

– Remove welding nozzle (9) by loosening the four screws (38).
• Assembly
– Push welding nozzle (9) onto heating element and mica tube
WARNING: The mica tube must be mounted between the heating
element and welding nozzle (9) for safety reasons.
– Fasten welding nozzle (9) with four screws (38).
– Adjustment of the welding nozzle (9) (see operating instructions
VARIANT T1 page 34/35, section FAQ).
