4. Press locking and keep it pressed.
5. Shift head stop downwards.
Then move head stop up into horizontal position until it locks.
6. Carefully push the measuring rod down until the head stop gently
touches the head of the aligned person.
Read body height on the measuring rod (marking B).

The body height scale should be cleaned with household de-
tergents or commercially available disinfectants, e.g. 70% iso-
propanol. We recommend a disinfectant suitable for wiping dis-
infection. Please follow manufacturer's instructions.
Do not use any polishing or aggressive cleaning agents ( white
spirit, petrol etc.) as they may damage the high-quality surface.
The appliance may only be opened by trained service techni-
cians who are authorized by KERN.
Disposal of packaging and appliance must be carried out by
operator according to valid national or regional law of the loca-
tion where the appliance is used.
