3b - Using pods
Use pods suitable for machines for "bar"- type espresso coffee.
Check that there is enough water in tank (5).
Do not use machine if there is no water in tank (5).
Make sure dial (17) is in position "
•
Remove fi lter holder (10) from its housing.
•
Place fi lter (14) inside fi lter holder (10) (fi g."M"), making sure that the tabs on the sides of the fi lter "C1" fi t
into the slots in the fi lter holder "C2" (fi g. "C").
•
Place pod in centre of fi lter (14) (fi g."N"), checking to fi t any paper tabs on the pod inside the fi lter holder.
•
Insert fi lter holder (10) into its housing (fi g."E").
The fi lter holder needs to be inserted correctly, otherwise the machine cannot operate.
•
Press the on/off light switch
•
Place a cup on the grill (6). Place in centre of grill right under the coffee delivery spout (fi g."L").
•
Wait for the lit ON/OFF switch

To stop delivery, turn dial (17) again to position "
Do not remove fi lter holder (10) from its housing unless dial (17) is in position "
When delivery of coffee is over, empty the fi lter (14) and rinse fi lter holder (10) thoroughly. After rinsing,
shake both parts in order to eliminate any residual water.
3c - Using caps
Only use Bialetti Coffee Caps.
Check that there is enough water in tank (5).
Do not use machine if there is no water in tank (5).
Make sure dial (17) is in position "
•
Remove fi lter holder (10) from its housing.
•
Place cap holder (11) into fi lter holder (10) (fi g."O") , making sure that tabs on side of fi lter "C1" fi t into
slots on fi lter holder "C2" (fi g. "C").
•
Insert a Bialetti aluminium cap, (fi g."P").
•
Insert fi lter holder (10) into its housing (fi g."E").
The fi lter holder needs to be inserted correctly, otherwise the machine cannot operate.
