d. Continue turning the cylinder until the
mowing blade (11) is exactly above the
counter blade (10) on the left side.
e.
Push a sheet of A4 paper between one
mowing blade (11) on the cylinder and
the counter blade (10).
f.
Tighten left allen screw (13) until the A4
paper sheet is held gently.
g. Continue turning the cylinder until the
mowing blade (11), already adjusted on
the left side, is exactly above the
counter blade (10) on the right side.
h. Tighten the right allen screw until the
A4 paper sheet is held gently.
i.
Rotate cylinder mowing blade (11). If a
banging noise is produced during this,
open up the allen screw slightly on the
side affected. When the cylinder and
the lower blade can hardly be heard
touching each other, the cutting
mechanism has been adjusted
correctly.
j.
Cutting test: Place a strip of A4 paper in
such a way on the counter blade (10)
that it points towards the spindle of the
cylinder mowing blade (11).
k.
Turn cylinder mowing blade (11)
carefully. If the counter blade (10) is set
correctly the paper will be cut off as if
with scissors.
l.
Repeat the cutting test on the other
blades of the cylinder.

10. Maintenance and cleaning

Danger!
Cutting tool can cause injuries!
When undertaking maintenance, remove
the safety key, wait for the cutting
mechanism to stop and put on suitable
work gloves.
WARNING: Always disconnect from the
mains power supply, before carrying out any
maintenance/cleaning of the charger.
Remove the battery before carrying out any
maintenance/cleaning of the tool.
Maintenance
10.1
There are no inner parts of the tool which
need maintenance.
Cleaning
10.2
Warning! Damage to Li-on cylinder mower.
Never clean your cylinder mower with
running water, in particular with water under
high pressure.
Deposits affect the cutting result as well as
discharge of grass clippings. Residual dirt
and grass is easily removed immediately
after mowing.
a. Remove grass deposits with a brush
and a cloth.
b. Oil the cutting mechanism lightly with
low viscosity oil (e.g. sprayed oil).
• Keep safety devices, ventilation
openings and the motor housing as free
as possible from dirt and dust. Rub the
electric power tool with a clean cloth or
blow over it with low pressure
compressed air.
• We recommend that you clean your
electric power tool immediately after
each use.
• Clean the electric power tool regularly
with a damp cloth and somewhat soft
soap. Do not use any cleaning or
solvent materials; these can attack the
device's plastic components. Make sure
that no water can get inside the electric
power tool.
