HOW TO DEAL WITH LIME SCALE INCRUS-
TATIONS:
For the appliance to work correctly it should be
•
kept free of limescale or magnesium incrusta-
tions caused by the use of hard water.
To avoid this type of problem, it is recommen-
•
ded to use water of low calcareous or magne-
sian mineralization.
In any case, if it is not possible to use the type
•
of water recommended above, you should pe-
riodically proceed with a decalcification treat-
ment of the appliance, with a periodicity of:
Every 6 weeks if the water is "very hard".
•
Every 12 weeks if the water is "hard".
•
If the time needed to make a coffee jug increa-
•
ses considerably.
A specific anti-lime scale product should be
•
used on this kind of product.
Homemade solutions, such as the use of vi-
•
negar, are not recommended in decalcification
treatments of the appliance.
