or hold it under a running tap.

4. PREPARING TO SLICE
Before using for the first time, you may
wish to disassemble and wash slicer. See
"Cleaning".
• Position slicer on a clean, dry and
smooth surface. Remove food tray from
its storage position and unwrap cord
from bottom of slicer.

• Fold down platform and put the food try
under the blade at the back of the food
slicer.
• Unfold the safety thumb guard of the
food carriage, then, push it down into
the food carriage and lock in position.
• Place food carriage on platform. The
ridge on bottom of food carriage
should fit into slot of platform properly.
Move food carriage, back and forth, a
few times, to ensure movement.
• Unfold the food pusher until it locks in
position and place it on back of food
carriage.
