For safety reasons, the connection cable must not exceed 8.2 ft (2.5 m) in length.
The "Miele Service Documentation" (MSD) service application is required for all service work
The warning and safety instructions given in the model-specific technical service documentation must be observed.
Service work must be done following the model-specific work instructions.
Drilling template
The mat also serves as a drilling template for the 4 mounting holes.
NOTE
The holes for mounting are re-drilled depending on the model of the washing machine or tumble dryer.

Drilling mounting holes
This part of the instructions only applies to the following models:
PW 5065, PW 6055, PW 6065, PW 6080, PT 5135 C, PT 5136, PT 7135 C, PT 7136, PT 7186

Place the supplied mat on the machine lid and align it with the edges of the machine lid with W = 1 3/8" (35 mm) and
Z = 3 1/8" (80 mm); see Fig. 1.

Drill 4 holes with Ø 1/4" (6.5 mm).
A
Punch out the prepunched hole for feeding through the cable on the rear panel of the machine.

Place the supplied mat on the machine lid and align it with the edges of the machine lid with W = 2 3/8" (60.5 mm)
and Z = 1 1/4" (31 mm); see Fig. 2.

Drill 4 holes with Ø 1/4" (6.5 mm); see Fig. 2.

Drill 1 hole with Ø 1/8" (3 mm); see Fig. 2.

Drill 1 hole with Ø 1 3/16" (30 mm); see Fig. 2.

Bridge sequential-circuit contacts P3, P5, and P7.

Plug contact 9 to 13 and contact 17 to 21.

Withdraw contacts 25 and 31 and bridge with plug connections.

Remove the sequential-circuit surge (9); see Fig. 4.

Cover the drill holes in the control panel with stickers mat. no.: 00090179.

Use the Ø 1 3/16" (30 mm) (10) hole for the connection cable with strain relief; see Fig. 4.
