WINTER/SUMMER HARDWARE ON ACTA-EMBRACE
Attaching Winter/Summer Hardware to Acta-Embrace Back Support Wings.

Remove the cover from the back support.

Using the 5mm hex key, remove the wing (A) from the back support shell (B).
Recommendation: Retain the bolts, washers, and double nut from the wing assembly for
future use of the wing without the winter/summer hardware.

Separate the winter/summer assembly (C), using the 4mm hex key to remove the outer
bolts (D) and the safety washers (E).

Align the winter/summer parts on each side of the back support shell (B) with the knob
(F) on the rear face of the back support shell (B) and the center pin in the slot. The
Winter/Summer plate (G) should be placed on the front face of the shell with the arrows
"
OUT" pointed at the outside edge of the shell (B).

Fasten the sections of the winter/summer together through the slot using the bolts (D)
and the safety washers (E).

Make sure the assembly is now in the "summer" position to access the bolts (H) hidden
in the holes next to the knob (F).
Recommendation: Rotate the knob (F) to align cutouts for better tool access to bolts (H).

Unscrew the hidden bolts (H) using the 4mm hex key to release the double nut (J). To
avoid difficulty in removing, alternate between the bolts (H) when unscrewing.

Align the slots on the wing (A) mounting tab with the exposed threads of the bolts H. The
wing should be oriented to the outside edge of the back support shell (B).

Replace the double nut (J) and tighten the hidden bolts (H) to secure.

Replace the back support cover. See the installation instructions in this manual for
the Acta-Embrace Wings to add the slot mount lateral trunk support hardware to the
wing, if not already installed. Continue to the "Adjustment and Use" section for the final
hardware adjustments and pad positioning.
