Inserting/replacing batteries

1.
Remove the battery compartment cover located at the bottom of the device.
2.
Insert 4 new AA/LR6 batteries (not included in the package) into the battery
compartment. Ensure that the polarity of each battery corresponds to the symbols (+
and -) in the battery compartment.
3.
Replace the battery compartment cover.
Notes:
-
Inserting batteries into the device is optional. The batteries are only for keeping the
record of the time and the date setting in the event of a power failure.
-
Without the batteries, the date and time will be reset to the factory default values in
the event of a power failure.
-
With or without the batteries, the other setting including the alarm setting and the
preset radio stations will be retained in the event of a power failure.
If you do not insert batteries, you will need to set the date and time again
after experiencing a power failure or unplugging the device.
Only use the type of batteries specified in this guide.
Replace the batteries when they are flat or in case of leakage.
Remove the batteries prior to an extended period of non-use of the device.

Turning on/off the device and changing its mode

Your clock radio turns on and enters the clock mode once you plug it in.
To put your clock radio into the audio mode, long press the
of the device. Your clock radio will then automatically select the default or last used
input source.
