Pairing a Bluetooth* playback device

1.
Place your clock radio within 10 metres of your Bluetooth* playback device.
2.
Put your clock radio into the audio mode if it is not in this mode.
3.
Press the
button one or more times until "Bluethooth" appears on the screen.
Your clock radio will beep once and "Bluethooth" will blink on the screen, indicating
that your clock radio is in pairing mode.
4.
On your Bluetooth* playback device, turn on Bluetooth* and search for nearby
Bluetooth* devices.
5.
On your Bluetooth* playback device, select "Essb_RRV-300DAB+" from the list of
available Bluetooth* devices to pair the two devices.
6.
Once paired successfully, your clock radio will beep once and "Bluethooth" will stop
blinking on the screen.
Tip: Every time you put your clock radio into the audio mode and set its input source to
"Bluethooth", it will automatically try to reconnect with the last connected Bluetooth*
playback device, unless you manaually forget/unpair/remove your clock radio on that
Bluetooth* playback device.

Controlling the playback with your clock radio

After you have paired your clock radio with a Bluetooth* playback device, you can start
playing audio on the Bluetooth* playback device and hearing the sound from your clock
radio. While the audio is playing, you can control the playback using the buttons on the
top of your clock radio.

Notes:
If the communication condition is poor, the Bluetooth* playback device may react
incorrectly to the operation on your clock radio.
The available functions may vary depending on the Bluetooth* playback device. When
you operate as instructed above, it may operate differently or may not work at all.

Detecting incoming calls

Your clock radio, connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth*, detects incoming calls.
When a call is received, your clock radio emits a ringing tone and pauses the current
playback. You can then use your smartphone to answer or decline the call.
