4.3 Connecting the Controller to Drivers
WARNING! When connecting the LED system to the controller, the system may power on. Make
sure your system(s) are not connected to the main power supply or the signal cable of the driver is not
inserted in the controller.
WARNING! The controller may only be connected to compatible EYE HORTILUX drivers and systems.
WARNING! Do not drape power cords over the reflector to avoid damage to cord.
1. Make sure your system(s) are not connected to the main power supply.
2. Plug the RJ9 end of one of the controller cables into the RJ9 main port of the controller.
3. Plug the RJ14 end of the controller cable(s) into the RJ14 port of the first driver.
4. Interconnect the remote driver to the next driver in line using an interconnect cable with RJ14 plugs.
Up to 100 drivers may be daisy-chained in this way.
5. Plug system(s) into the main power supply.
4.4 Connecting the Controller to Complete Systems
WARNING! The controller may only be connected to compatible EYE HORTILUX drivers and systems.
Note: An RJ14 splitter and two cables are provided with each complete EYE HORTILUX system since complete
systems have only one RJ14 port.
1. Plug the RJ9 end of the provided controller cable into the RJ9 main port of the controller.
2. Plug the RJ14 end of the controller cable(s) into the input of a RJ14 splitter. Use an interconnect cable
to connect one output of the RJ14 splitter to the RJ14 port of the driver.
3. Use an interconnect cable to connect one output of the RJ14 splitter to the input of the following
RJ14 splitter.
4. Repeat this process to connect up to 100 systems.
4.5 Connecting the Controller to the Main Power Supply
WARNING! When you plug in the controller, the connected drivers may ignite. Make sure your drivers
are not connected to the main power supply yet or the signal cable of the driver(s) is not inserted in the
controller yet.
Note: An RJ14 splitter and two cables are provided with each complete system since complete systems have
only one RJ14 port.
1. Plug the adapter to the AC outlet.
2. Plug the DC connector of the adapter into the DC inlet of the controller. The green power indicator will
illuminate to indicate the power is on.
3. Plug drivers back into the main power supply.
