Safety precautions
Location
1. Ensure to operate on a firm, flat surface.
2. Never place the frother on or near a hot gas or an electric burner
or where it could touch a heated appliance.
3. Do not use outdoors. This appliance is intended to be used in
household and similar applications, such as:
a) Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
b) Farm houses;
c) By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
d) Bed and breakfast type environments.
Children
4.This appliance is not intended for use by children under 8 years
old unless they are close supervised or have been instruction
concerning the use of the Milk Frother by person responsible for
their safety.
Other safety consideration
5.Always ensure that the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds
to the voltage in your home, before connecting the appliance to the
power supply.
6.Disconnect appliance from the power supply when not in use,
filling, cleaning or changing accessories.
7.Never immerse the jug, cord, electric plugs and the power base
fully in water or other liquids. Always keep the appliance and power
base dry.
8.Don' t use the attached base for other than intended use.
Product safety
9.Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts or cleaning the
appliance.
10.Don' t leave the cords near a heat source. It can deform the cord
or melt the insulation and cause a fire or electrical shock.
11.Don' t operate the equipment on or near a hot gas or electric
burner or in a hot oven. This is to prevent fire and electrical shock.
12.Notes on the cord plug: The voltage rating of the appliance has
to be as the same as your home electric supply. This appliance has
a polarized plug. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is
intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still not fit,
contact a qualified electrician, do not attempt to modify the plug
by yourself.
