EMPTYING OF THE TANK WITH
CENTRIFUGAL PUMP
4) Turn the GARDA /LEDRA gear lever to the right to
select the centrifugal pump;
5) Open the gate valve located on the centrifugal
pump;
Operate the cardan shaft;
Under no circumstances apply to the PTO of the GARDA/75 and GARDA/3500 group a power greater than 80 kW
to avoid damage to the gearbox.
The LEDRA group supports higher powers.

5.3 OPERATING PARAMETERS

ROTARY BLADES VACUUM PUMP
The operating parameters of the rotary blades vacuum pumps are provided in the individual use and maintenance
manuals.
CENTRIFUGAL PUMP
Pressure
CENTRIFUGE 6500 FOR GARDA AND LEDRA: the operating pressure must be maintained at approximately 5
bar to avoid excessive heating of the centrifugal pump. The maximum pressure of 6 bar should in any case never be
exceeded.
CENTRIFUGE 3500 FOR GARDA: the operating pressure must be maintained at approximately 4 bar to avoid
excessive heating of the centrifugal pump. The maximum pressure of 4.5 bar should in any case never be exceeded.
Operating time
the recommended maximum operating time must not exceed 30 minutes to avoid excessive heating of the gearbox.

5.4 CONTROL DEVICES

To control the phases of aspiration and compression of the rotary blades vacuum pump it is possible to use the handle
on the collector which is manually adjustable. To select the phases of suction and compression turn the handle in the
directions indicated in the manual of the individual pumps.

4) Turn the handle of the rotary blades vacuum pump
into the compression position;
5) Open the rear gate valve on the tank;
Spread the slurry
To operate the rotary blades vacuum pump turn the lever on the
gearbox to the left (position "C"). To operate the centrifuge, turn
the handle on the gearbox to the right (position "D").
The suction-compression selection performed with the
handle of the pump must be carried out with the vacuum
pump not activated.
