7.7 REPLACING THE SCREW NUT

1) Remove the outer screw nut flange by loosening the relevant screws;
2) Loosen the screws fastening the screw nut to the support;
3) Remove the screw nut to be replaced by extracting it from the support;
4) Insert the new screw nut;
5) Tighten the screws fastening the screw nut to the support;
6) Attach the external flange to the screw nut;
7) Tighten the screws of the external screw nut flange;

7.8 REPLACING THE SCREW NUT SUPPORT

1) Remove the front cover "75" by loosening the relevant screws;
2) Loosen the screws of the support fastening the centrifugal pump to the gearbox;
3) Use two screws to remove the centrifugal pump and place it on the work bench;
4) Loosen the screws fastening the screw nut to the support;
5) Remove the screw nut, along with the external flange, by extracting it from the support;
6) Unscrew the self-locking nut;
7) Remove the impeller from the shaft of the centrifugal pump;
8) Remove the key;

7.9 PERIODIC MAINTENANCE

Check the oil level in the Garda /
Ledra gearbox.
Wash the gearbox
Change the oil in the gearbox
8 - PUTTING OUT OF SERVICE AND DEMOLITION
Before demolishing the combined group, the following materials must be separated:
• lubricating oil;
• rubber and plastic parts;
• cast iron and steel parts;
and disposed of correctly.
Do not dispose of the combined group into the environment.
For disposal of the lubricating oil make use of specialised treatment services.
