Use and handling of the battery tool
Charge the batteries ONLY with battery chargers recommended by the manufacturer.
A charger that is suitable for one type of battery may create a risk of fire when used with another battery.
Only use specifically designated batteries in the electric power tools. Use of any other batteries may create a risk of injury and fire.
Keep unused batteries away from paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that could make a
connection from one terminal to another. A short-circuit between the battery terminals could lead to burns or fire.
In the event of incorrect use, liquid may be ejected from the battery. Avoid any contact with such liquids. If contact occurs
accidentally, flush with water. If the liquid should come into contact with your eyes, additionally seek medical help.
Liquid leaking out of the battery may cause skin irritation or burns.
Do not use a defective or modified battery. Defective or modified batteries may behave unpredictably and lead to fire, explosion or
risk of injury.
Do not expose a battery to fire or high temperatures. Fire or temperatures above 130 °C (266 °F) may cause the battery to
explode.
Observe all charging instructions and never charge the battery or the battery tool when outside the temperature range specified
in the operating instructions. Wrong charging or charging outside the admissible temperature range may destroy the battery and
increase the risk of fire.
Do not pull out the battery until the power tool has been shut down safely.
Never charge the battery in the presence of flammable materials or gases. Disconnect the plug from the socket after charging is
completed. Do not dismantle the charger.
If the batteries are stored for a long time, the charge level must be checked regularly. The optimum charge level is between 50%
and 80%. The batteries should be recharged at least every 12 months to avoid a deep discharge that can damage the batteries.
Empty batteries should never be stored uncharged for more than one month to avoid a deep discharge that can damage the
battery.
The charge status can be queried by pressing the button on the battery. When querying the status, you can keep the battery
inserted in the electric power tool; however, the tool must be switched off at least 1 minute before the check to ensure an
accurate reading. The number of illuminated LEDs describes the charging status. One flashing LED means a maximum power
reserve of 10%. This display should only be used to determine the power reserve.
For further information, please refer to the operating instructions supplied with the battery charger. These instructions must be
consulted before use.

Service
Have your electric power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only original replacement parts. This will ensure that the
safety of the electric power tool is maintained.
Never service damaged batteries. Batteries must only be serviced by the manufacturer or by authorized customer service
centers.
The electric power tool may only be opened by the manufacturer or authorized persons.
If the seal is damaged, any guarantee or warranty claims will be void. The device must not be operated without a protective
cover.
If there is an oil leak, the electric power tool must be sent back to the manufacturer.

Personal protective equipment

The typical A-weighted sound pressure level does not exceed 70 dB (A). The sound power level can exceed 85 dB
(A) during operation - hearing protection must be used!
Wear appropriate working clothes, protective gloves and safety shoes
When processing steel components, eye protection must be used due to the risk of parts getting ejected from the
device. The manufacturer recommends the use of face protection.
When using the electric power tool at height/above your head, make sure to secure the tool sufficiently against
falling with the supplied carrying strap. Otherwise, use a safety helmet.
