Safety and Maintenance Instructions
1. Description of the symbols and labels
The symbols and labels described below apply both to these safety and maintenance instructions and to the operating manual
included with the device. Make sure to read and understand these instructions before using the device.
1.1. Symbols on the electric power tool
Hand injury warning. Hand injuries can occur due to the closing movement of the device. Do not reach into the
danger area of the electric power tool.
The electrical appliance must not be used without press inserts.
Read the operating manual and safety instructions before use
Use eye protection to protect against flying particles.
Reset button (manual pressure release)
Power supply: Direct current (DC) voltage.
Electric power tools must not be disposed of together with household waste, but must be recycled separately.
Conformity marking
LED - display of device function/service
LED - power supply indicator
EFUP (Environmentally Friendly Use Period). The specified number indicates the number of years in which the
electric power tool can be used in an environmentally friendly manner.

WARNING
Highlights an instruction that, if not observed, may cause injury or death.
CAUTION
Highlights an instruction that, if not observed, may cause damage to the electric power tool or to
property.
Do not reach into the danger area of the tool.
Interventions in the danger area of the tool are only permitted if the tool is fully opened and the battery is
removed.
The battery tool must not be used in damp places or in places where there is a risk of dripping water.
