Plug the cord (6) into the socket on the side
of the rice cooker and plug the other end
into an electrical socket. The electrical socket
must be easily accessible when the rice
cooker is plugged in.
Turn on the rice cooker using the on/off
button (11).
Press the switch (8) down. The "COOK"
indicator light comes on and the cooking
process starts.
During cooking, steam will be emitted from
the steam vent (2). Be careful not to burn
yourself on the steam.
Once the cooking process is complete, the
switch (8) returns to its original position and
the "WARM" indicator light comes on. This
keeps the rice warm.
Lift the lid off . First tilt it up on the side
furthest away from you so you do not get hot
steam on you.
Take the rice out using the spoon (10). Put
the lid back on again to keep the rice warm.
Turn off the rice cooker using the on/off
button (11).
Sometimes there may be some rice stuck
to the inside of the pan. This is completely
normal. Follow the instructions in the section
on Cleaning and maintenance to remove
them.
Steaming vegetables
Rinse the vegetables, cut them into suitable
pieces and place them inside the steamer
(12).
Fill the bottom of the pan (3) with water. Put
the steamer (12) in the pan and put the lid
(1) on.

cooking process starts.

Cleaning and maintenance
Unplug the rice cooker and allow it to cool
before cleaning it.
Never submerge the rice cooker in water.
All external surfaces can be cleaned with a
damp cloth.
Always remove the pan and steamer from
the rice cooker before cleaning them.
Soften stubborn rice in the pan by � lling
it with hot water and a little washing-up
liquid and leaving it to stand until the rice is
released from the pan.
Wash the pan, steamer, lid, plastic spoon and
measuring cup in warm soapy water. Dry
thoroughly.
Do not use sharp or abrasive objects when
cleaning the pan as this may damage the
non-stick coating.
