Installation and Operation
Transmitter Front and Rear
1. Power LED: Indicates Power.
2. Link LED: Indicates a link is present between the transmitter and receiver with a live signal.
3. USB Type B In: Connect to the DisplayPort PC or laptop using a USB Type B to A cable.
4. 12VDC: Connect and secure the included power supply.
5. DisplayPort In: Connect to a DisplayPort source device.
6. IR Tx: Connect the supplied IR Transmitter Cable for IR signal transmission. Place the IR
Transmitter in direct line-of-sight of the equipment to be controlled.
7. IR Rx: Connect the supplied IR Receiver cable for IR signal reception. Ensure the remote being
used is within the direct line-of-sight of the IR Extender.
8. RS-232: Connect to a PC or serial control device using the included 3.5mm to RS-232 cable.
9. Cat.6 Out: Connect the DisplayPort receiver using a single Cat.6 or above cable for all data signals.
Please do not connect to a network port.
Receiver Front and Rear
1. Power LED: Indicates Power.
2. Link LED: Indicates a link is present between the transmitter and receiver with a live signal.
3. USB 1: Connect to a USB Type A Keyboard.
4. USB 2: Connect to a USB Type A Mouse.
5. 12VDC: Connect and secure the included power supply.
6. DisplayPort Out: Connect to a DisplayPort display.
7. IR Tx: Connect the supplied IR Transmitter Cable for IR signal transmission. Place the IR
Transmitter in direct line-of-sight of the equipment to be controlled.
8. IR Rx: Connect the supplied IR Receiver cable for IR signal reception. Ensure the remote being
used is within the direct line-of-sight of the IR Extender.
9. RS-232: Connect to a PC or serial control device using the included 3.5mm to RS-232 cable.
10. Cat.6 Out: Connect the DisplayPort transmitter using a single Cat.6 or above cable for all data
signals. Please do not connect to a network port.
