DC 12V SALKI TIRE INFLATORS are intended for emergency roadside tire inflation and to inflate bicycle tires, soccer and beach balls
and another sports equipment. Scope of delivery includes different inflation nozzles and needle.
SALKI DC 12V TIRE REPAIR SYSTEM includes a bottle of Tire Sealant with filler hose. A tire inflator with built-in pressure gauge, valve
core removal tool and air repair adapters for inflatables.
1. Remove valve cap or valve extended from the valve stem.
2. Place connector on input valve stem (Fig.1) and push down. Close thumb latch connector (Fig.2).
3. Caution: Make sure the connector always touches the core of tire valve stem. Be sure to press down over valve stem thread
completely. When connector is firmly in place, press locking lever down to lock onto the valve system.
4. To inflate, simple plug power cord into cigarette lighter receptacle. (Fig.3) Then set inflator on/off switch to "on" position.
5. If the tire is totally deflated, it's possible that the tire could separate from the rim, allowing air to leak out when trying to inflate. This
usually happens only on completely flat tires. In the even this situation occurs, you will have to jack up the car prior to inflating the tire.
6. The time necessary to inflate a tire, will vary from tire to tire, and depend on how deflated the tire is.
7. When proper pressure is reached, set on/off switch to "off" position, unplug power cord and remove connector.
Repairing a flat tire with SALKI DC 12V TIRE REPAIR SYSTEM, is simple and takes less than 15 minutes.
When a flat tire occurs, inspect the tire to determine if the tire is punctured in the thread area. If the tire has cuts or damage in the
sidewall area, do not attempt to repair, the tire can't be safely repaired by this kit. Make sure the inflator power switch is at "off"
position before repairing.
1. Start by rotating tire so that the valve stem is in the lower half of the tire.
2. Slowly remove the valve core with valve core tool provided. Take care to keep a hold of the valve core as remaining pressure in the
tire can cause the core to shoot out.
3. Allow the tire to fully deflate.
4. Remove the puncturing object if possible.
5. Place white cap on sealant bottle. Attach filler tube to the bottle tip and tire valve stem and squeeze in recommended amount of Sealant.
6. Replace the valve core.
7. Plug the tire inflator into the power outlet. Turn ON the inflator and air up the tire. Use the built-in tire pressure gauge to monitor
inflation progress. Once your correct tire pressure has been reached, turn OFF the inflator and disconnect the power adapter. (The
manufacturer's recommended tire pressure can be found in the owner's manual and/or the driver's side door jamb.)
8. Disconnect inflator, and drive your vehicle for at least 1,6km to allow the sealant evenly to run through tire.
Maximum speed 50-80km/h. Stop and inspect tire to ensure the puncture has sealed and that no air is escaping from the tire.
Please refer to owner's guide for recommended tire pressure set by car manufacturer (listed on the driver side door!
