CAUTION
– After a "LOCK-OUT", wait roughly 30 seconds before
restoring the start-up conditions (RESET).
– To reset the start-up conditions, press the burner
unlock button. Wait for the entire start-up phase to
terminate until the flame appears.
– Before starting up in pre-ventilation mode, the
burner will pre-heat the fuel (for burners equipped
with a fuel pre-heater) for roughly 2 and a half min-
utes (data referred to the Sime compatible burner).
7.3.1
Checks
After the start-up, check that the ESTELLE HE B4 INOX ErP boiler
performs a lock-out and switches back on. To do this:
– modify the calibration of the heating thermostat
– adjust the room thermostat or the time programmer
– check that the system pump is working
– check that the boiler locks out completely by shifting the sys-
tem's main switch and the device's main switch to "off".
If all the conditions are fulfilled, restart the boiler, bring it to full
power and analyse the combustion by-products.
7.4
Checking the combustion parameters
To conduct the combustion checks it is necessary to connect a
fume analyser and a fume thermometer to the withdrawal sock-
et (1), as illustrated in the figure.
After completing the initial start-up of the boiler, leave the burn-
er running for a few minutes to stabilise the flame. Then meas-
ure:
– CO
(%)
2
– CO (ppm) (as per the regulations in force)
– Bacharach index (≤ 0,5)
– the fume temperature
Check that the measured values are very close or equal to the
values of the technical data table. If not, correct the regulations
made.
m
WARNINGS
– In certain countries, the regulations in force require
measuring the combustion performance.

7.5.1
If the user is away temporarily, for a weekend, short trip etc and
if the outside temperature is at ZERO:
– press the main switch (8) to switch off the boiler
– close the fuel and water circuit shut-off valves.
7.5.2
If the boiler is to be left unused for a long period, the following
operations need to be carried out:
1
– press the main switch (8) to switch off the boiler
– close the fuel and water circuit shut-off valves
– set the main system switch to "OFF"
– drain the system if there is the risk of freezing.
