Before using the bed, check that the distance between the brackets and the ends of the
hospital bed is as shown in Fig. 5, in order to ensure that the bed is correctly balanced.
•
At this point, the lifting base is correctly assembled on the hospital bed.
8.2 Assembly of the electrical kit (only MI195)

•
Connect the end of the connector of the wall-mounted power supply unit extension cable
(5), ensuring the position of the relative notch is correct, then lock the connection in place
with the plastic cap. (Fig. 6)
•
Connect the remote control (6) to the control unit and insert the plastic stop (4) onto the
connectors, as shown in Fig. 7

9. BEFORE EVERY USE
•
Always check for wear and tear of moving mechanical parts, in order to ensure that the
device can be used in total safety for both people and property.
•
Check that the device is correctly assembled, taking particular care over correct insertion
and locking of the bolts on the connection brackets between the lifting base and the hospital
bed
•
For correct balancing, check that the connection brackets (2) and (3) are positioned
as shown in Fig. 5.
10. WARNINGS ON USE
•
Do not exceed the maximum permitted weight under any circumstances
•
When the lifting base is being lowered, make sure no one places their hands, legs or other
parts of the body underneath the mesh of the hospital bed
•
Ensure that the floor on which the lifting base is positioned has an even surface
