Operation
The LOGIC CVS requires the LOGIC Drive 2x for operation. It can receive power without user intervention and is
automatically recognized by the LOGIC Drive 2x once connected. The LOGIC CVS connects directly to the LOGIC Drive 2X
using RJ45 Ethernet cables. Each has an input and output slot, allowing for easy daisy-chain connectivity of up to 8 units
per slot.
To set up and use multiple LOGIC CVS fixtures, do the following:
1. Connect the LOGIC Drive 2x to the power supply, and connect the LOGIC CVS to the Logic Drive 2x.
2. Plug the Ethernet cable to the first LOGIC CVS unit's output slot and to the second unit's input slot. Continue this
process until all the LOGIC CVS needed are interconnected.
3. On the Logic Drive 2X, go to Menu > Linked Fixtures > Status > Renew > Yes (Menu > Appareils liés > Statut
> Renouveler > Oui).
4. Once all the LOGIC CVS are connected, the screen on the LOGIC Drive 2x will display:
Discovering...
Output: # (with # pertaining to the Output slot in use)
Dev Sum: # (with # pertaining to the number of LOGIC CVS fixtures connected to the LOGIC Drive 2x)
It is possible to link a maximum of 8 LOGIC CVS units per output slot on the LOGIC Drive 2x and a
total of 16 LOGIC CVS units per LOGIC Drive 2x.
Use the POE power injectors in line in the daisy chain to link more fixtures to the port if the
maximum power rating for the port is exceeded.

DMX Connection

The LOGIC CVS uses an Ethernet cable connected to the output port of the LOGIC Drive 2x for its data connection (see
DMX
Values). The LOGIC Drive 2x will receive the DMX signal and relay it to the LOGIC CVS for its 9 control personalities:
Red mode, Green mode, Blue mode, TW mode, RGB mode, RGBW mode, RGBW+D mode, and Full mode.

Signal Connection

The LOGIC CVS uses an RJ45 Ethernet cable connected from the output port of the LOGIC Drive 2x to the input port of the
fixture for its data connection via a TCP/IP connection. It will then pass signal to other devices on the network connected to
the output port. The Drive 2x will link to lighting controllers via DMX, RDM, Art-Net, Art-RDM, and sACN protocols, and then
relay this control information to the LOGIC CVS via the RJ45 Ethernet connection. The output ports on the LOGIC Drive 2x
send both power and data over the same cable.
