Note: The SweepOut time is the same for all shots, once set for one of the shots it is the same for
all the others (even for manual mode).
Exit the edit mode by pressing again on the last time set.
In order not to change the settings accidentally, you can choose to lock the display. In this
case, to be able to work, it will only be possible to navigate through the dose pages
(see Par. 6. Password page 56 and Fig. 19).
OTHER SETTINGS
Start button setting (only for automatic mode)
According to the factory setting, the appliance distributes coffee only as long as the start button
(10 Fig. 1) is held down.
If this button is released during distribution of a shot, the motor stops, the system goes into pause
status and the display shows the time remaining to complete the shot. In addition, to highlight the
fact that the distributed shot has not been completed, the remaining time flashes. At this point, to
complete the dose just press the start button (10 Fig. 1) again with the filter-holder and keep it
pressed until the shot and the SweepOut (if active) is completed.
Instead, if you no longer wish to end the shot, to exit or reset the time, just press at the bottom
of the screen on the shot pages.
However it is possible to change this function by activating or deactivating the impulse mode of the
start button (10 Fig. 1). With pulse mode activated the distribution of coffee will begin with the simple
pressing of the start button (10 Fig. 1) and will end only at the end of the time set for the distribution
of the required shot and for the SweepOut (if active). With pulse mode deactivated the shot will be
dispensed only by keeping the start button pressed (10 Fig. 1). Also in this case the distribution of
coffee will end only at the end of the time set for the distribution of the required shot and for the
SweepOut (if active).
To change the operating mode of the start button, press the button
deactivate the impulse mode (see Fig. 8).
Note: If the filter-holder support is used, it is recommended to work with impulse mode switched off.
