8.1 TILT Y axis

NOTE

The PRIMUS 2 H1N+ functions

The TILT axis function can be used to tilt the axis of a range of ±10 %. With
the Primus 2 H1N+ the tilt setting is monitored!
Y axis
The figure to the right shows the tilt if a positive
percentage value is set.
To set larger tilts it is helpful or rather it is necessary to »pre-tilt« the laser in the appro-
priate direction within the horizontal levelling tolerance of ±5° (8.8 %).
If the laser is not »pretilted« for large tilts, the laser head cannot move to the set tilt for
technical reasons. The LED and the warning symbol in the display flash.
Invoke TILT function, Y axis and tilt symbols
press button. are displayed flashing
The laser levels itself

horizontally
adopt set value for
Y axis
During and for 30 seconds after the horizontal levelling the laser detects vib-
rations, horizontally levels itself again and sets the default percentage values.
Accept 0.00 % value with the button or set
a value, e.g. +5 %, for Y axis using the comfort
functions of the buttons (see Page 37)
