1. WARNINGS

The appliance may only be used after the instructions in the following document have been read and un-
derstood.
•
The appliance can be used by children under 8 years of age and by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervi-
sion or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the potential
hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance.
•
Cleaning and maintenance of the machine must only be carried out by adults and only after the ma-
chine has been disconnected from the electrical power supply.
•
The appliance must be powered by a properly protected power supply system.
•
The company reserves the right to make any modifications to the machines described without prior
notice.
•
Disconnect the equipment from the mains before any intervention.
•
When the pump is running, there must be no particles in the water (clean water only).
•
Do not use the pump without a residual current device.
•
The pump must be operated with a 220 V - 240 V power supply, as indicated on the nameplate.
•
Do not use the power cable to transport the pump or to unplug it.
•
Make sure that the electrical connections are protected from moisture.
•
Avoid dry running of the pump. Never use the pump if the suction hose is clogged.
•
It is strictly forbidden to pump corrosive, easily combustible, aggressive or explosive liquids (such as
petrol, oil or nitro thinner), salt water and foodstuffs.
•
The temperature of the liquid must not exceed 35°C.
•
Do not use the pump if the safety devices are damaged or exhausted. Never disable the safety devi-
ces.
The pump must be used only for the prescribed purpose. Any use other than those mentioned in this Manual
will be considered a case of misuse.
2.CONDITIONS OF USE
The pump is designed for domestic use. It is intended primarily for drainage purposes in case of flooding,
overpumping and pumping from the container, removal of water from streams and wells, draining of boats
and yachts.
