Speed:
Press this button to switch between the two fan levels.
Timer:
Press the timer button to start the timer function. Press repeatedly to set a time of 1-
24 hours. If the timer is activated, this is indicated by the corresponding LED.
If you activate the timer during operation, the device switches off after the set time.
If you activate the timer while the device is in standby mode, the device starts
automatically after the set time has elapsed.
Humidity setting:
The unit is equipped with a modern hygrostat (humidity regulator) and the
compressor switches off automatically when the desired humidity is reached. If the
humidity in the room rises again, the Comedes Demecto 10 automatically switches on
again with fan level 2. By repeatedly pressing the " " button, a target humidity of CO,
30%, 35%, 40%, 45%, 50%, 55%, 60%, 65%, 70%, 75%, 80%, 85%, 90% and AU
can be set.
The hysteresis of the device is about 3%. During operation, the current humidity is
shown on the display. If the current humidity is below 35%, "LO" appears on the
display. If the humidity is above 95%, "HI" appears on the display.
Memory function
The unit has a memory function that stores the settings for fan speed and target
humidity when the unit is turned off. As soon as the dehumidifier is switched on
again, it starts with the stored settings.
Continuous operation (CO.):
With the "CO" setting, the unit dehumidifies at maximum capacity and does not
switch off until the tank is full.
Comfort operation (AU):
With this setting, the device operates in an automatic mode influenced by the
temperature.
1. if the temperature is below 5°C, the compressor stops.
2. at a temperature between 5°C and 20°C, a target air humidity of
of 60% is deposited.
3. at a temperature between 20°C and 27°C, a target air humidity of
of 55% is deposited.
4. at a temperature above 27°C, a target air humidity of 50% is automatically
on file.
Automatic defrost:
The unit is equipped with an automatic defrosting system which prevents the
evaporator from freezing up too much. When the unit defrosts, the compressor
switches off and the "Operation" LED flashes.
