Drying in case of problems with condensation moisture
Condensation usually occurs in cellars when damp air enters the cellar in summer and
condenses on the cold cellar walls. We recommend dehumidifying the cellar room by
room first in continuous operation. Let the appliance run continuously until you notice
that the amount of water you empty daily from the tank is decreasing. Now place the
device in the next room. Once you have dried all the rooms, we recommend that you
select a central installation location and operate the unit in automatic mode. We
recommend a humidity setting of about 50-60%. This type of dehumidification is
more energy-efficient than if you dehumidify immediately to automatic mode, as the
unit then switches off and on very frequently.
Drying in the event of construction defects or water damage
In the case of construction defects and water damage, the cause should first be
eliminated. The rooms can then be dried with condensation dryers such as the
Demecto 10. The dehumidifier is operated in continuous operation. The ambient
temperature should be at least 20°C (not more than 27°C). If

Attention: Only heat the room with water-bearing heating units, such as underfloor
heating and permanently installed radiators.
