SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The following safety warnings and ins-
tructions are provided to avoid injury
to the user and to prevent damage to
the user's environment. However, it is
important to take the necessary pre-
cautions and proceed with care during
installation, maintenance, cleaning and
handling of the appliance.
Children/Adults/Pets
Children and other persons who are
not aware of the risks involved in using
the appliance could be injured or have
their lives endangered. Therefore,
please note:
- The appliance is not intended for use
by persons under 8 years of age or per-
sons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of expe-
rience and knowledge unless they have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the potential
hazards involved.
- Children should not play with this
appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without su-
pervision.
Warning: Risk of suffocation!
Do not allow children to play with the
packaging/plastic or parts of the pac-
kaging, as they could become entan-
gled in it or cover their heads with it
and suffocate.
Keep packaging, plastics and packa-
ging parts out of the reach of children.

Danger of electric shock/fire/damage
to property/damage to the appliance!
If the appliance is not installed co-
rrectly, this can lead to dangerous
circumstances. Make sure that the fo-
llowing conditions are met:
- The mains voltage at the mains soc-
ket must correspond to the rated vol-
tage specified on the appliance (rating
plate).
The mains voltage at the socket must
correspond to the rated voltage spe-
cified on the device (rating plate).
- The mains plug and the socket with
protective contact must match and
the earthing system must be correctly
installed.
- The installation must have a suitable
cross-section.
The mains plug must be accessible at
all times. If this is not possible, in or-
der to comply with the relevant safety
regulations, a switch (two-pole switch)
must be permanently integrated into
the installation in accordance with the
regulations for electrical installations.
If the mains cable of the appliance is
modified or damaged, this could lead
to electric shock, short circuit or fire
due to overheating.
