A "cosmic" oscillator

Our neighborhood is huge. It would be great to explore it and discover every detail, right?
The LANIAKEA concept comes from the idea of exploring all possible sound textures, from simple analog
and additives oscillators to resonators and strings. Creating music from 80's synthesizers... Or even ex-
perimental music? Harmony or absolute chaos? Of course, we have opted for a simple and intuitive, but
powerful, interface.
Connect your Magerit LANIAKEA to the Eurorack system and turn it on. A small start-up animation will
appear on the LED ring. The functionality of each button, knob and CV input of this module is explained
below:
ORBITS button
Press this button to access the ORBITS menu. Inside you will be able to modify some extra parameters that we
have included in LANIAKEA. These parameters will be explained along with the main function of each potentio-
meter and highlighted in red. Once edited, press the button to exit the menu. The modified parameters will be
stored automatically.
SPACE!
The impressive SPACE! knob is a master controller of the module. With it, you can modify the overall texture of
the sound, from something simple to complex, from a harmonically poor sound to a harmonically rich one, from
cozy to chaotic.... Everything! In addition, it is possible to choose which parameters will be affected by SPACE!.
In the SPACE! menu you can choose which ones will be modified and how much.

SPACE! button
The SPACE! menu allows you to modify how much the SPACE! knob will affect each parameter. To enter this menu,
press this button. When you turn any knob, the LED ring will indicate how much its respective parameter will be
modified when turning the SPACE! knob. Press the button to exit the menu. The modified parameters will be
saved automatically.
